Weird...now that I try it again it wants to work. Maybe something hanging up in the upgrade? Anyways, thanks for the feedback.

hm, i upgraded to 2.2 yesterday and just checked changing my username in the widget and it seems to work fine.

after you click save changes on the widget screen, what happens if you open back up the control for the widget? is the name field blank?

Keith,

Cool widget! Not sure if I am doing something wrong or because I just upgrade to WP 2.2, but I can't get my username info to stay in the widget. I put it in, close, save and then check my homepage but it always says "Please enter your wakoopa username"

Thanks,

Derek

p.s. Good luck in SF

so it looks like i'll be adding some caching code to this in the future so that

1. doesn't wait on the wakoopa server every page load
2. if wakoopa is down for maintenance (aka right now hence this post), the cached image can still show

look for v0.2 soon.

Hah! after all those years, you finally gave in to the temptation :) It's pretty sweet isn't it?

ps: If you use 'google' as a verb at Yahoo!, will they fire you?
